No one cooks 30 unique dinners a month. Real meal planning is built on rotation — the same 8–10 favorites in different combinations. Here's the framework we teach.

The rotation system

  1. Pick 4 breakfasts you love. Rotate them randomly.
  2. Pick 5 lunches — mostly leftovers-based.
  3. Pick 8 dinners. Repeat each ~4 times a month.

The 8 core dinners we rotate

  • Salmon + green vegetable + lemon butter
  • Bolognese over spaghetti squash or zoodles
  • Chicken thighs + roasted vegetable + tahini
  • Bunless burgers + salad + avocado
  • Steak + creamed spinach
  • Shrimp scampi over zucchini noodles
  • Cauliflower crust pizza with mozzarella
  • Slow-cooker pork shoulder + slaw

Weekly themes to prevent boredom

  • Week 1: Comfort-food week
  • Week 2: Seafood-forward week
  • Week 3: Mediterranean week
  • Week 4: Mexican-inspired week

Weekly prep — 60 minutes on Sunday

  1. Hard-boil a dozen eggs.
  2. Roast a large tray of vegetables.
  3. Cook a batch protein (Bolognese, shredded chicken, or pulled pork).
  4. Wash and dry all your greens.
  5. Portion nuts, cheese, and olives into snack containers.

The 30-day milestone

After 30 days, assess honestly. Are you enjoying the food? Are you satisfied? Are you seeing the results you wanted? Adjust one variable — carbs, protein, exercise — and continue.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to repeat meals?

No, but you probably will and that's fine. Repetition builds consistency and consistency is what produces results.

What if my family doesn't do keto?

See our family-friendly meal planning guide — most keto dinners can be paired with a starch side for non-keto family members.
