Titan has been making watches that Indians trust for over four decades. With the Celestor 2.0, it now makes a case for being a smartwatch Indians should take seriously. Priced at Rs 11,499, this is no small feat; it brings dual-band GPS, Zone2 fitness intelligence, Offline Maps, a bright 1000-nit AMOLED display, and an AI assistant called Titan Q to the table. The question is whether all that adds up to a smartwatch worth buying in an increasingly crowded market. We spent some time with it to find out.
Design
Celestor 2.0 stays true to Titan’s original design philosophy. The watch sports a round aluminum case measuring 46.5mm in diameter and 11.5mm in thickness, which gives it a strong and powerful look in the hand without feeling unwieldy. A lightweight smartwatch designed for long-term use. The watch is built with a durable aluminum case and rotary crown, and the crown itself is a pleasure to use – physical movement never goes out of style. It comes with a premium hybrid fabric that combines silicone and nylon, which sits comfortably against the skin and holds up well during exercise. The strap is sweat-proof and the overall shape inspires confidence. Available in Onyx Black and Orion Blue variants, the Celestor 2.0 looks at home in boardrooms and on the run โ a rarity for a smartwatch at this price.

Show
The Titan Celestor 2.0 features a 1.4-inch AMOLED display that offers a refresh rate of up to 60Hz and up to 1000 nits of maximum brightness. The display is strong and colors appear punchy. Also, the high brightness of the display makes it readable even under sunlight. The AMOLED display on the Titan Celestor 2.0 comes with an Always-On Display mode that shows the time on the watch face when you’re standing still. The touchscreen is also responsive throughout the movement and the combination of the crown and the touchscreen creates a clear model of interaction. The display on the Titan smartwatch is protected with a layer of Panda Glass, which provides enough resistance for daily use. Titan Celestor 2.0 also offers a range of dynamic watch faces, enabling users to customize their look to match their mood or work. Whether you choose a minimalistic digital face for work or a bold, well-focused design for practice, the Celestor 2.0 adapts seamlessly. Compared to other smartwatches in its segment, the display feels premium, striking a balance between functionality and aesthetics.
Features and functionality
The Titan Celestor 2.0 offers a variety of features that make it the ultimate smartwatch. Designed for fitness and outdoor enthusiasts, the smartwatch offers dual-band GPS for accurate location tracking and offline maps for smartphone-free navigation. The Titan Celestor 2.0 comes with a heart rate monitor and an SpO2 tracker. The smartwatch can also keep track of sleep and stress levels. The smartwatch also supports more than 100 sports modes from running and swimming to niche workouts. The smartwatch also comes with training intensity analysis and fitness data that enable wearers to adjust their routines by understanding performance capabilities and recovery needs.During our tests, the Titan Celestor 2.0 offers smooth and responsive performance. The smartwatch also handles multitasking well such as switching between fitness tracking, notifications and music playback. The smartwatch also offers offline music storage that enables users to pair Bluetooth headsets with the smart watch and enjoy music on the go. Notifications from calls, messages and apps are seamlessly integrated, keeping users connected while focusing on exercise or work. A notable new addition is Titan Q – Titan’s AI-powered assistant – as well as an AI Day Brief feature that summarizes your day at a glance. The values โโof SpO2 and heart rate were consistent with the medical level equipment in the test, although the number of steps showed a small difference of about 4-5%, which is par for the course for this group. The dual-band GPS locks on quickly and maintains a stable signal in open areas, although some users have reported signal drops in dense urban areas.

The watch is rated 5 ATM for water resistance, an upgrade from ATM 3 onwards which makes it suitable for swimming and rain without worry. The Titan Celestor 2.0 smartwatch works with the Titan Smart World companion app. The app is available on Android and iOS operating systems. The on-boarding process is simple and quick, and once worn, the smartwatch automatically syncs health and fitness data to the device as soon as it is worn. The Titan Smart app maintains a constant connection with the smartwatch for syncing data, sending notifications, and receiving calls from a mobile smartphone. Watch faces can be changed through the app, with a healthy library to choose from. The device also supports the export of data to third-party platforms such as Strava, which is useful for serious athletes.Notification management works but isn’t granular – the watch can’t perfectly match your smartphone’s notification settings, as is the case with Wear OS devices, so you may find yourself ringing for notifications you’d rather ignore. The solution is to turn off notifications in the app, which is difficult.
Battery
Battery life is one of the strongest features of the Titan Celestor 2.0 smartwatch. The wearable can provide up to 7 days of battery life on a single charge for moderate usage that includes fitness tracking, notifications and GPS usage. Battery backup may change if you push the device hard, which means that continuous GPS tracking, exercise, playing idle music and Always on display mode will drain the battery quickly and you will get 4 days of battery backup on a single charge. Along with durable battery backup, Titan Celestor 2.0 also charges quickly thanks to fast charging support. The Smartwatch fully charges within an hour. The balance between performance features and battery optimization is carefully managed, meaning the Celestial 2.0 doesn’t force you to compromise performance for longevity.
Judgment
The Titan Celestor 2.0 is a well-designed upgrade that addresses many of the gaps in the original Celestor. The bright AMOLED display, dual GPS bands, Zone2 training tools, 5 ATM Maps, ATM waterproofing, and the addition of the Titan Q make a convincing case for anyone leaving the gym or picking up a classic smartwatch. Priced at Rs 11,499, the Titan Celestor 2.0 is a great smartwatch for people looking for a sporty look with useful fitness features and reliable GPS functionality.
