Garmin smartwatches are getting a lot of new improvements with the latest update release

Garmin has finally moved its latest high-end smartwatches to a new software update. To reiterate, the company released System Software 21.25 in mid-February for the Fenix ​​8 series as a replacement for System Software 20.29. Garmin has since returned to its Beta Program with a series of v21.xx builds aimed at addressing bugs that were missed during the previous beta update.

Now, Garmin started April by releasing its first public update of v22.xx. Specifically, Beta Version 22.21 can be downloaded across Enduro 3, Fenix ​​​​E, Fenix ​​​​8 and Quatix 8. However, owners of Quatix 8 Pro and Fenix ​​​​8 Pro (curr. $1,099 on Amazon) must stay on v21.xx builds for now even though LTE is mentioned in Garmin’s update.

Presumably, Garmin will add both smartwatches to its v22.xx beta update cycle soon. Meanwhile, Beta Version 22.21 is said to introduce 35 changes from System Software 21.39 for non-Pro smartwatches. Of those mentioned on the Garmin platform, two are bug fixes. The full version for Garmin’s first public beta update of v22.xx is as follows:
