- An August announcement is expected.
Google’s I/O conference is two months away, which means its 2026 Pixel series is on the way, and these leaked renders put a face to expectations.
This morning (Mar 30), Android Heads came up with the so-called version of the Google version of the Pixel 11. As we are used to, there is the fact that the Pixel 11 has the same corner design and a 6.3-inch display, similar to its version of the Pixel 10, which measures 152.8 x 72 x 8.5mm. The announcement means that Google can reduce its margins, giving users more screen space. Other than that, the device remains largely the same, even down to its punch-hole selfie lens.
A note was made regarding Pixel 11 camera buyers in this version. Normally, Google puts the LED light in a metallic light, but that is not present in these images. Nothing has been said about the cameras, so it’s likely that we’ll be looking at the same 48MP lens to carry the weight.

Rumors don’t say much about its internal changes. With a new year, a new chip is always expected. This is where the rumors point to a more obvious prospect: the Tensor G6. Additionally, there was said to be a very small increase of 30mAh for its battery, bringing it to 5,000mAh from 4,970mAh. The bare minimum of 128GB of storage comes back into the conversation.
Hmm, okay, yes; this is a Pixel phone
If you’re scratching your head at these alleged images, we wouldn’t blame you. We didn’t expect anything it’s huge changes for the design of the Pixel 11, not after Google appeared in August and said, “After two to three years, we look to try to do something with a new design language.” These were the words of Google’s Design Director, Ivy Ross, during the launch of Pixel 10. In addition, during Ross’s interview, it was confirmed that Google is already “finalizing” Pixel 11 for 2026 before launching the series in 2027 (Pixel 12).
With that in mind, it looks like the Pixel 11 display has been locked for a while. Google also said that AI and software are the main drivers behind the Pixel series of phones. Since these rumors today do not say much that is surprising, we will probably have to look at the features of the phone, and that will take time to know for sure.
There were some Pixel 11 rumors late last year that suggested Google might ditch Samsung’s modem for MediaTek’s. This week’s latest news says the same, but drops the name: MediaTek M90. We’re still a few months away from seeing the Pixel 11 series, as speculation suggests it could launch sometime in August.
Taking Android Central
I don’t mind the fact that Google’s Pixel 11 series could look the same. It’s a very good design. Since the company’s launch, Pixels have been looking more innovative. And they really stand up for themselves. I remember people saying that Apple’s latest phones have taken a page out of Google’s book with their “camera bar”. Agreeing to that is a whole different discussion. I just know Google’s launch for phones will be full of features and headlines about “what Gemini can do now.”
