Vivo X300 Ultra has just officially arrived! It continues to improve the series and does not differ from the main points of its predecessors.
That means its camera system has improved with better hardware and software, but it’s essentially the same 14mm + 35mm + 85mm flagship.
Vivo X200 Ultra brought a large 1/1.28-inch 14mm ultrawide sensor, and the X300 Ultra seems to use it again for 2026. The 85mm zoom may sound the same – 200MP 1/1.4-inch – but it uses Samsung’s new ISOCELL HP0 sensor as an update 60 times. second), to reduce power consumption, and launch 3 ° Gimbal-Grade OIS, which vivo says achieves the CIPA 7.0 level of stability. On the lens front, however, the new 85mm zoom has an aperture of f/2.67, which is darker than the f/2.27 on the vivo X200 Ultra.

Then there’s a great new camera. It’s still the old record length of 35mm, but it sits in front of the larger image of 1/1.12-inch 200MP Sony Lytia 901 (vs 1/1.28-inch 50MP) – about 1-inch and four times the resolution.
Sensor aside, the lens uses the new, industry-leading 1G+6P technology, which vivo claims reduces reflections by 20%. It is also rated CIPA 6.5 for professional durability. The 35mm lens aperture is f/1.85, which is (again) darker than the X200 Ultra’s f/1.69.
Finally, on the lens front, vivo has two new teleconverters to go along with the X300 Ultra’s 200MP telephoto – a 400mm 17.4x teleconverter, called the “Cannon 400”, and a new, smaller 200mm 8.7x, called the “Lipstick 200”. There’s also a new camera accessory, called the vivo Imaging Grip Kit – we’ve got hands on here.

There are two other improvements to talk about – video and vivo’s new color technology. X300 Ultra presents several video-centric features – one has full-length OIS (all cameras get optical stabilization, telephoto has the best), there is 3D LUT (see table) external support, and a lot of support for 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video. Vivo’s log format is compatible with ACES pro post-production workflow.
Vivo has introduced a new Photography App, which has a 3D LUT library for different colors. Also, X300 Ultra supports vivo’s own Multi-Focal 4K Master Color Video – a color audio pipeline based on vivo’s new color technology, so let’s talk about it.
Vivo’s new color science starts with reading from a new 50MP True Color Lens with 12 channels, enabling pixel-level color and tonal accuracy. It gets a little technical from there. Smooth EV dynamic compression algorithm intelligently calculates multi-frame HDR data to preserve important details and protect sounds. From there, vivo’s color technology can change the results for you personally, to film, or vivid, or whatever; it’s up to the creator.
Physically, the X300 Ultra looks identical to its predecessor. On the front is a 6.82-inch 3168x1440p Ultra XDR AMOLED with a fast 1-144Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the X300 Ultra ditches the capacitive camera button in favor of a cleaner look.
Vivo X300 Ultra green
Vivo X300 Ultra hosts the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 12GB or 16GB of RAM. On the battery side, it has a 6,600mAh power pack with 100W wired and 40W wireless FlashCharge.

The X300 Ultra is coming to China first and will hit the world stage (a first for an Ultra). The phone ships in Green, Silver, and Black, and 12/256GB, 12/512GB, 16/512GB, and 16GB/1TB (with satellite connection support).
