In addition to showing that the new full-sized HomePod is in the works, and that the foldable iPhone is likely to ship later than the iPhone 18 Pro models this year, BloombergMark Gurman today said he doesn’t expect major design changes for the next Apple Watch models coming later this year.
Gurman revealed all these details in a Q&A call today at Bloomberg website, where the audience was invited to ask him anything about Apple.
Over the years, there have been rumors about everything from a redesigned Apple Watch X to a new version of the watch band that sticks with power, but nothing like that ever came to light. And based on Gurman’s latest description, it sounds like the next Apple Watch will continue to look the same this year.
Of course, the Apple Watch Ultra introduced a new design when it launched in 2022, but the model has received a number of design changes since then.
A redesign is not only necessary for the sake of change, but users expecting something new may have to be patient, as it was recently rumored that a major overhaul of the Apple Watch won’t arrive for at least another two years.
